USC Telehealth in partnership with 1in6 is pleased to offer professional online counseling and therapy through the University of Southern California. USC is currently funding a special program to offer weekly online counseling at no cost to the 1in6 community (CA residents only*) for at least 12 sessions or more, including spouses, partners, and immediate family.
*Please Note: This is a pilot program offered to 1in6 through the University of Southern California to California residents only. If the program is successful, we hope that it can be rolled out nationwide.
To receive these free services, you will need a computer or laptop (less than 5 years old), a webcam, and high-speed Internet. Counseling sessions take place online just as they would in a therapist’s office, but from the convenience of your own home or other private location. The technology is HIPAA compliant with federal-level encryption to protect your privacy.
First and second year graduate students under the supervision of highly trained PhD and LCSW practitioners will have direct client interaction including intake services. Only second year students will be engaged in providing psychotherapy services.
The trauma of sexual abuse can show up in many ways such as depression, anxiety, hopelessness, and difficulties in family, work, and intimate relationships. We realize how hard it is to reach out for help.

Your Feedback Matters
If you have questions or need help, we have 24/7 Online Support.
We offer several resources, including guidance about how to select an appropriate therapist or consultant, in Get Help and through the Online SupportLine, which we hope will be useful to you in finding effective treatment, getting personalized recommendations for services or to discuss personal issues.
Because 1in6 does not provide direct service to individuals, we are unable to offer that kind of exchange through our feedback response below.
