1in6 Board Chair David Lisak, PhD. at University of New Hampshire
1in6 Board Chair and Forensic Consultant David Lisak, PhD. will visit the University of New Hampshire on Wednesday, November 12th for a series of discussions about investigations and best survivor-centered practices. He will be making several stops throughout the day and there will be several chances to see him speak. All events are free and some events require registration (details below). This event is hosted by the University of New Hampshire’s Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program (SHARPP).
The day’s events will include:
8:00am-9:30am | Keynote Presentation and Continental Breakfast in the Granite State Room. Registration is required for the purpose of food. (https://www.events.unh.edu/
Our day will begin with food/networking time and then a presentation to follow. Open to the public.
12:00pm-1:00pm | Colleagues Luncheon in the Strafford Room Limited Seating and Registration (click here) is required.
David will give a brief talk with an emphasis on diversity and intersectionality in identities in terms of sexual assault. Open to all faculty and staff.
1:00pm-3:30 pm | Legal Personnel – Supporting Survivors in MUB Theatre II
In conjunction with the Office of Community Standards, UNH and Durham Police departments, NH County Attorney’s office, UNH Housing, and Res life. Etc. This session is geared towards people who work with survivors in navigating legal/conduct systems. Open to the public.
7:30pm-8:30pm | Student Session in the Granite State Room
This student focused presentation will end David’s visit on campus. Details to come. Open to public.
