As you can imagine, it’s not easy to raise money for an organization working on an issue that most people don’t even want to think about. With two recent Oprah shows that focused on the abuse men experienced as boys our web traffic has seen a three-fold increase and our email correspondence has increased by 20 times! We are grateful to be able to respond to the needs of these men, and those who care about them, and appreciate your support of our work.

Donations from individuals such as yourself play an important role in supporting the development and delivery of our resources and services. Would you consider choosing from the opportunities below to further our important work?

You have my word — the return on your investment will be great. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about how we allocate the financial contributions we receive.

will provide one hour of online support to any man, family member or friend who may have nowhere else to turn. Your contribution will provide one hour of online support by a trained volunteer when the support line is open.

 

will allow us to mail (postage paid) two books from our Lending Library to any man, friend or family member who might need a resource but be unable to purchase it themselves or feel uncomfortable doing so.

 

will provide for one half hour of 1in6 web-programming development, including content creation, site design and focus group research. 1in6.org sees tremendous traffic and we are continually updating and developing new online resources.

 

will allow us to scholarship one direct service provider (from foster care or the juvenile justice system) who might not otherwise have the opportunity, to attend the two-day 1in6 Men & Healing training.

 

will be used where needed most.
