Communities of Faith

Faith and spirituality are important components of well-being and a good life. All faith traditions have tools that can enable a survivor to break the cycle of guilt and shame. As such, 1in6 is committed to help create and support safe and meaningful resources that are inclusive of all aspects of individual men’s lives. Our Faith Outreach Program is an ongoing and amorphous process.

The goal of our Faith Outreach program is to foster inclusive and responsive information for survivors. As such, we will be working closely with pastors, rabbis, ministers, priests, imams and other leaders in this project.

We are currently working with professors from prominent Christian colleges such as Moody Bible Institute and Biola University to craft content specifically aimed at the Christian community to explore issues of abuse from a Christian perspective.
